How to setup the firmware on Siemens Gigaset phones
Getting Started
The firmware is updated directly online by the Gigaset. To start the download process please ensure that the unit is connected to your network then follow the instructions below.
- Press Menu, scroll to Settings, then select Base finally select the Firmware Upgrade option
- Enter the base station PIN (Default 0000)
- Press the display soft-key YES to start the download.
If the firmware is current and uptodate the handset will inform you and no further action is needed.
